Throughout National Bike Month in May, Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin and Mukilteo Mayor Jennifer Gregerson competed in a friendly contest to see who could bike the most miles, checking off certain stops along the way.

In the end, the mayors rode a combined 434 miles. Franklin edged out Gregerson for the win, with 220 miles biked, and claimed the Non-Motorized Mayor Award. (Still, in the spirit of things, both received trophies.)
