Death of a woman found on north Everett road ‘suspicious’

EVERETT — Everett police are seeking witnesses in the death of a woman found on a north Everett street Saturday night.

Police said she was found with serious injuries in the 1300 block of Grand Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

Initial indications were that she was struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene and hasn’t been identified, police said.

Police termed the death “suspicious.”

The woman was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where she died a short time later.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office has not released the name of the woman or cause of death.

Police said it is possible that the vehicle involved was damaged, but do not have a make or model.
