EVERETT — Dick’s Drive-In will open its Everett location on June 12, the company announced Monday.
The 10th Dick’s in the state will be located at 621 Center Road and will be the second location for the Seattle-based burger chain in Snohomish County, with the first one located in Edmonds since 2011.
“So many people have reached out wanting to know when we’ll be open,” Dick’s CEO Jasmine Donovan said in a press release. “It’s so much fun to finally share the news! We’ll be serving your favorite burgers, fries and shakes on June 12th!”
First opened in 1954 in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, Dick’s has kept its menu to burgers, fries and shakes, making only rare changes such as adding a quarter-pound burger or a Diet-Coke to its offerings.
Construction began in November on the Everett location. The new restaurant is expected to employ around 50 workers.
As is customary for its other grand openings, Dick’s has launched an orange ticket contest, which gives 12 winners a chance to participate in the ribbon cutting on June 12. Winners will receive gifts from Dick’s and be one of the first to enjoy a deluxe burger, fries and shake from the new Everett location.
