EVERETT — A man suffered serious injuries after his arm became trapped in the gears of a baler machine Tuesday in Everett.
At 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, Everett Fire responded to a report of the trapped worker at a Goodwill Outlet at the 2200 block of W. Casino Road.
Firefighters were able to free the man’s arm after 30 minutes. He suffered multiple traumatic injuries to his lower arm and was listed in serious condition at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, according to a social media post.
Baler machines are used to compact large volumes of materials, such as clothing and cardboard, into bales for transport.
