Soroptimists honor food bank worker

Soroptimist International of Everett awarded Lori Drabant, executive vice president of Volunteers of America Western Washington, with a certificate of recognition for her outstanding work in the community supporting others in need.

Drabant spoke at a recent meeting of the Soroptimist group about the food bank program. The Volunteers of America Western Washington food bank in Everett also acts as the distribution center for 21 food banks throughout the county. Learn more at www.voaww.org.
