EVERETT — Snohomish County youth could get their artwork featured on local buses thanks to a new contest through the county’s transit agency.

Community Transit’s “Design Together, Discover Together” art contest is open to local youth ages 5-18. The theme of the contest is “riding transit with friends.”

Art can be drawn with crayons, colored pencils, markers or paints. Digital art can also be entered.

All submissions must be original, the agency said, with no filters, stickers or non-original assets used. Entries must also not copy others’ work and must not violate copyright law.

Entrants can submit their artwork online via a photo or by mail to Community Transit Design Together, Discover Together art contest, 2312 W. Casino Road, Everett, WA 98204. Entries must be postmarked by Oct. 20.
