Chest pains brought change of heart

I’m going to start my letter by apologizing for all the years I said negative things (or agreed with others in the Edmonds area when they said negative things) regarding Stevens Hospital.

A few weeks ago, I had a change of heart about the care and professionalism offered at Stevens. I had chest pains and called 911. As the emergency crew took me to Stevens emergency, the old stigma was running through my head – but, I did not have a choice at that point. I’m now glad I did go there – they have the latest critical decision unit and professionalism. I could not have had better treatment, since I flatlined three times during my first few hours of care.

All the doctors and staff are so knowledgeable throughout the entire hospital. I would hope this will encourage and change some thoughts about Stevens Hospital. I would not be here today if it was not for its top technology and staff.
