Off the mark on Griffey

I do not know what Larry Henry is smoking but he either lost his mind or his memory (“Baseball prices in stratosphere,” Dec. 13). To quote him: “Yes, there are guys who care. One used to play for the Mariners. Maybe you remember him. Guy by the name of Ken Griffey Jr.” Talk about naive, Ken has now taken his whining to Cincinnati – fortunately for us.

Henry is right on when he speaks about Alex Rodriguez being a selfish guy but Ken Griffey Jr did not give a flip about the fans either. This kind of writing is purely bush league. Maybe I should cancel my subscription if this is the best The Herald can do.
