I would like to give a large “thank you” to all who waved and honked at us to encourage us as we were participating in the prayer vigil for 40 Days For Life. Some took the time to get out of their cars and tell us how important it was that we were publicly defending the lives of the unborn. One man was in tears as he told me, “On your signs you have to change the wording. Your sign says, ‘Pray to end abortion.’ It should say, ‘Pray to end murder.’ They want to keep murder legal.” Yes, we agree with him. That is why we continue to pray in public and encourage young mothers to seek alternatives.
I would also like to publicly thank the Everett Police, who kept the peace as we were heckled by people who insisted on shouting right in our faces. I feel only pity for those who think that it is perfectly all right for a mother to murder her child.
