EVERETT — Austin Grebeck hit a two-run single in the sixth inning, lifting the Everett AquaSox to a 3-2 win over the Spokane Indians on Thursday. With the victory, the AquaSox swept the three-game series.

Everett right-hander and Northwest League All-Star Andres Torres (6-1) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on just four hits over six innings.

Spokane broke a scoreless tie when Kole Enright homered to lead off the fifth inning to give the Indians a 1-0 lead.

Onil Pena started a two-out rally in the sixth with a base hit to center field. Troy Dixon followed with a single to right, moving Pena to second base. Aaron Stroosman walked to load the bases and Grebeck came through with a clutch single to score Pena and Dixon to give the AquaSox a 2-1 lead.

The AquaSox tacked on another run in the seventh when Greifer Andrade hit an RBI single, bringing home Eugene Helder, who had singled, stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error by Spokane catcher Matt Whatley.

Spokane cut the Everett lead to 3-2 after Whatley hit an RBI single, scoring Miguel Aparicio in the eighth inning.

Everett reliever Scott Kuzminsky struck out Aparicio out with runners on first and second to end the game for his first save of the season.

Indians starter Tai Tiedemann (3-3) took the tough loss after allowing two runs and five hits over 5 2/3 innings.
