Everett boys beat cross-town rivals

EVERETT – Cross-town rivals Cascade and Everett opened the boys basketball season at the south Everett school Friday with the visiting Seagulls coasting to a 70-46 non-conference win.

Everett put together a balanced scoring attack, getting 12 points from Vesna Sophan and 10 each from Bennett Johnson and Adam Moore.

The host Bruins were led by the 16 points of Jamichael Bailey and the 12 points of Mike Skoor.
