Figgins back in the Mariners’ lineup; we’ll see how that works out

Happy Father’s Day everyone. I miss my dad terribly.

I know Chone Figgins loves his dad because I saw how proud Figgy and the family were a year-and-a-half ago at the news conference when the Mariners announced his signing.

Times change and players struggle, the smiles fade and fans have their say.

Figgins is back in the Mariners’ lineup today, batting ninth. I had my thoughts on Figgins’ play and the reception he’s gotten from the home fans in this blog item yesterday.

We’ll see how things work out today.
