EVERETT — Kaden Polcovich launched a late grand slam, George Kirby dominated on the mound and the Everett AquaSox bounced back from a rare loss with an 11-5 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Saturday evening at Funko Field.

Polcovich finished with five runs batted in, including his shot to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning that put the game out of reach.

Austin Shenton finished 2-for-4 with his 20th double of the season, and Cade Marlowe doubled, tripled and drove in two runs for the AquaSox.

Kirby was overpowering in five strong innings of work for Everett (33-18). The 2019 Seattle Mariners first-round pick allowed no runs on just three hits while striking out eight batters and walking two.

Rafael Lantigua and Luis De Los Santos each had two hits for Vancouver (27-26).
