Mill Creek stat leaders in Pool Play

Mill Creek’s leading hitter in most offensive categories during pool play was 6-foot-2 Jason Todd. Todd hit a team-high .700 in the three games with two home runs and a team-high six RBI. He also led Mill Creek in runs (6), hits (7), doubles (3), on-base percentage (.727) and slugging percentage (1.600). He and Alec Kisena led the team in home runs with two apiece. Todd and Jake Black both had a stolen base apiece.
Alex Jondal was second in hitting with a .444 average and Kisena was second in RBI with five.
Todd led in innings pitched with 9 2/3 and strikeouts with 18. He walked three and had an ERA of 3.10 to go with an 0-1 record.
Kisena was 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA in 3 1/3 innings and appeared in all three games.
Joakim Soderqvist pitched 2 2/3 innings and struck out eight and did not give up a run and only yielded one hit. Soderqvist said he has a torn tendon on the bottom of his elbow and a strained muscle on top but said he wants to pitch if needed tonight.
