Monroe Soccer Alumni Games on June 9

The annual Monroe Soccer Alumni Game is back, and this time the women will get a chance to show their skills.
Monroe’s soccer alumni games are scheduled for June 9 at Monroe High School. The first-ever girls alumni game will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the boys alumni game will start immediately after the girls game ends. Both games will have two 20-minute halves.
“It’s great to have the boys and girls play the same evening,” organizer Tom Cock said in a press release. “I expect two very competitive games.”
Admission costs $5. Proceeds go to the Thomas C Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to college-bound Monroe High students. For more info, contact Cock at tom@vestory.com or call 206-227-0295.
