Pair of Edmonds CC hoopsters honored after tournament

Two members of the Edmonds Community College men’s basketball team were named to the All-Tournament Team at the Clackamas Holiday Classic held Dec. 28-30 in Oregon City, Oregon.

Drew Magaoay, a sophomore guard who played prep basketball at Shorecrest and Cascade High Schools, averaged 25.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 3.7 3-pointers over three games. Thomas Doyle, a sophomore guard from Seattle’s Roosevelt High School, averaged 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 4.3 steals per game.

Edmonds finished 2-1 at the tournament, beating Linn-Benton 87-75 and Centralia 82-78 before losing to Clackamas 83-75.
