SULTAN — Led by junior running back Hunter Ansell’s 20 carries for 106 yards and two TDs, the Turks evened their overall record to 3-3.

Timothy Dilger added six rushes for 49 yards, and Sultan held Lynnwood (0-6) to 53 yards of total offense.

STANWOOD — The Eagles improved to 6-0 overall by beating Stanwood (2-4) to win the Stilly Cup.

SNOHOMISH — The Panthers struck first with David Hammer’s 32-yard TD pass to Parker Jackson, but Ferndale (3-3 overall, 3-2 league) responded with 27 consecutive points. Jackson caught seven passes for 106 yards, while Brody Strandt added eight receptions for 66 yards for Snohomish (0-6, 0-4).

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Cliff Tadema completed 15 of 22 passes for 209 yards and three TDs as the Cubs improved to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in league. Statistics were not reported for Marysville Getchell (2-4, 1-3).

SHORELINE — Lukas Wanke had two long interception returns in the third quarter as the Warriors (2-4 overall, 1-3 league) stunned Shorecrest to win their first league game of the season.

MARYSVILLE — Tulalip Heritage improved to 6-0 in league and overall as Darrington dropped to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in league. Statistics were not reported for Tulalip Heritage. For the Loggers, Grady Stuvland rushed for 153 of his team’s 333 rushing yards. Darrington quarterback Hunter Anderson passed for three touchdowns and also ran for two scores.
