BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 4A

Glacier Peak 78, Lake Stevens 47

SNOHOMISH — Jo Lee and Isaiah Cuellar combined for 47 points, and the unbeaten Grizzlies raced past the Vikings in Wesco 4A action.

Lee poured in a game-high 26 points and Cuellar made five 3-pointers on his way to 21 points. Jayce Nelson added 13 points for Glacier Peak (12-0 overall, 2-0 league). The Grizzlies built a 22-6 lead in the first quarter.

Javon McFerrin netted 15 points and Devin Freeman chipped in 13 to pace Lake Stevens (4-7, 1-1).

Wesco 3A/2A

Shorecrest 69, Meadowdale 63

LYNNWOOD — Junior Kagarabi registered 27 points to lead the Scots past the Mavericks in a tight Wesco 3A/2A contest.

Kagarabi went 11-of-14 from the field, Darek Usitalo had 13 points and seven assists and Devan Jones added 13 points and seven rebounds for Shorecrest (7-4 overall, 5-1 league).

Jaymon Wright led a quartet of Meadowdale (5-7, 2-5) players in double figures with 16 points. Natnael Ghirmay netted 13 points and Tate Lynch and Khalil Botley chipped in 10 apiece.

Mountlake Terrace 59, Snohomish 49

SNOHOMISH — Zaveon Jones scored 20 points, and the Hawks pulled away in the fourth quarter to avoid an upset against the Panthers in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Jaxon Dubiel added 16 points for Mountlake Terrace (10-1 overall, 7-0 league).

Hudson Capelli netted a game-high 23 points and Drew Davis chipped in 11 for Snohomish (3-9, 0-7).

Marysville Getchell 63, Arlington 60

MARYSVILLE — Wyatt Harris hit the deciding 3-pointer with 8 seconds left as the Chargers rallied in the second half for a win over the Eagles in a matchup of Wesco 3A/2A contenders.

Harris posted a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Bubba Palacol assisted on the winning basket and had a team-high 22 points, four assists and three steals. Shawn Etheridge added 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Marysville Getchell (10-2 overall, 5-2 league), which trailed by as many 16 in the third quarter.

Leyton Martin netted a game-high 24 points and Kaid Hunter chipped in nine for Arlington (8-5, 5-2).

Cedarcrest 71, Edmonds-Woodway 64

DUVALL — Jack Leblanc knocked down seven 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 35 points, and the Red Wolves bested the Warriors in a Wesco 3A/2A clash.

Adam Rawlings had 12 points, six assists and five rebounds, and Alex Amaral added 11 points, nine assists and six rebounds for Cedarcrest (10-2 overall, 5-2 league).

DJ Karl scored 11 points and Luke Boland chipped in 10 in a balanced effort for Edmonds-Woodway (6-6, 4-3), which had seven players score at least six points.

Sehome 61, Lakewood 51

BELLINGAHM — The Cougars fell to the Mariners in Northwest Conference action.

Nash Espe scored 13 points and Caleb Greenland and Ben Rucker added 11 points apiece to pace Lakewood (5-6 overall, 3-4 league).

Nolan Wright scored a game-high 18 points to lead Sehome (8-4, 5-2).

Emerald Sound Conference

Northwest 2B/1B

Coupeville 72, Darrington 30

DARRINGTON — The Loggers fell to the Wolves in a Northwest 2B/1B contest.

Chevy Vincent scored seven points and Cooper Green, Hunter Anderson and Grady Stuvland netted six points apiece for Darrington (3-7 overall, 1-4 league).

Ryan Blouin had a game-high 20 points and Logan Downes added 16 for Coupeville (9-2, 2-0).

Wesco 3A/2A

Meadowdale 92, Shorecrest 62

SHORELINE — Mia Brockmeyer and Gia Powell combined for 51 points, and the Mavericks posted a season-high point total in a Wesco 3A/2A victory over the Scots.

Brockmeyer made seven 3-pointers and registered 27 points. Powell scored 24 points and Audrey Lucas chipped in 12 for Meadowdale (11-2 overall, 5-1 league).

Cassandra Chesnut poured in a game-high 31 points and went 12 of 14 at the free-throw line to lead Shorecrest (8-3, 2-3).

Northwest Conference

Sehome 72, Lakewood 54

ARLINGTON — The Cougars dropped a Northwest Conference matchup against the Mariners.

Leiana Riviera posted 12 points and five steals, Krystle Raymond scored 12 points and Emma Tocco pulled down 11 rebounds for Lakewood (4-5 overall, 2-5 league).

Sehome improved to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in league.
