Jackson 79, Kamiak 59

MILL CREEK — Sylas Williams led 10 Jackson scorers with 25 points and the Timberwovles rolled past the Knights in Wesco 4A action.

Ty Hale scored 11 points, Ryan McFerran added 10 and Trey Hawkins chipped in nine for Jackson (8-2, 1-1 league).

Josiah Pierre led Kamiak (4-9, 0-2) with 21 points and Luke Strand added eight.

Wesco 3A/2A

Shorecrest 76, Meadowdale 36

SHORELINE — Keaine Silimon had 31 points, nine steals and seven rebounds as the Scots beat the Mavericks in a Wesco 3A/2A contest.

Parker Baumann added 17 points and six rebounds, and Anthony Najera netted 13 points for Shorecrest (7-3, 5-1 league), which held Meadowdale to single digits in three quarters.

Jaymon Wright had 10 points and nine rebounds, and Malik Robinson added seven points for Meadowdale (4-7, 1-6).

Cedarcrest 49, Edmonds-Woodway 47

EDMONDS — Murphy Vliem had 15 points and nine rebounds as the Red Wolves earned a hard-fought Wesco 3A/2A win over the Warriors.

Max Taibl added 10 points Cedarcrest (4-6, 2-4 league).

Drew Warner scored 17 points and Steven Warren Jr. add eight points for Edmonds-Woodway (4-5, 2-4).

Arlington 43, Marysville Getchell 36

ARLINGTON — Leyton Martin scored a game-high 14 points and the Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter for a victory over the Chargers.

Jackson Trotter had nine points and David Zachman added seven for Arlington (8-2, 6-1 league). The Eagles scored just two points in the first quarter, but held Marysville Getchell (7-4, 3-3) to just five points in the first and six in the fourth.

Bubba Palacol scored 10 points, Wyatt Harris added nine and Shawn Etheridge had eight for the Chargers.

KIRKLAND — Toby Trichler scored 18 points and Eli Trichler had 17 points, but the Turks couldn’t hold a fourth-quarter lead and fell to Eagles in an Emerald Sound Conference Coho Divsion battle.

Sultan suffered its first loss and fell to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in league play.

Cater Bayer netted a game-high 23 points to lead Eastside Prep (5-3, 5-0).

SNOHOMISH — Kylani Rookstool and Brynna Pukis scored 14 points apiece and the Grizzlies used a stingy defensive effort to best Lake Stevens in Wesco 4A play.

Zoey Ritter added 11 points and Marley Macris chipped in seven for the Glacier Peak (7-2, 1-0 league), which took a 32-15 lead into halftime and held Lake Stevens to single digits in three quarters.

Nisa Ellis scored seven points and Kamryn Wenz had six to lead the Vikings (6-5, 0-2).

Kamiak 55, Jackson 45

MUKILTEO — Bella Hasan scored 16 points and Nayella George had 14 points as the Knights earned a Wesco 4A victory over the Timberwolves.

Hasan and George each went 8 of 10 at the free-throw line and Vivian Mawudeku added 10 points for Kamiak (4-9, 2-0 league).

Giselle Dogan poured in 20 of her game-high 26 points in the first half to lead Jackson (5-9, 1-1).

Wesco 3A/2A

Lynnwood 84, Cascade 16

BOTHELL — Kayla Lorenz scored a game-high 21 points, Aniya Hooker had 19 points and the Royals cruised past the Bruins in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Lorenz knocked down seven 3-pointers, and Hooker neared a triple-double with nine rebounds and nine assists. Mataya Canda added 15 points and McKenzie Martin chipped in eight for Lynnwood (7-3, 5-1 league), which has won four straight.

Abby Surowiec and Claire Mitchell each scored six points to lead Cascade (2-7, 1-5).

Meadowdale 57, Shorecrest 41

LYNNWOOD — Gia Powell led four Mavericks in double figures with 12 points and Meadowdale topped the Scots in a Wesco 3A/2A contest.

Payton Flesihman and Jordan Leith scored 11 points apiece, and Ava Powell chipped in 10 points for the Mavericks (9-3, 5-2 league), who outscored Shorecrest 18-3 in the second quarter.

Cassandra Chesnut netted 13 points, Jocelyn Wirch had 12 points on four 3-pointers and Jocelyn Shea had 11 points for the Scots (6-4, 2-4).

King’s 50, Sultan 39

SEATTLE — Kaleo Anderson scored a game-high 20 points and the Knights pulled away late for victory over the Turks in Emerald Sound Conference Chinook Division play.

Claire Helton added eight points and Gwyn Siers had seven for King’s (10-3, 6-0).

Taylor Cushing netted 13 points, Ranah Rylah added 10 and Cascadia Yates chipped eight for Sultan (5-6, 3-3).
