EVERETT — Ashley Fletcher had a team-high nine kills, and Laura Esping filled the stat sheet with two kills, 10 digs, 28 assists and two aces as Archbishop Murphy opened league play with a 25-22, 25-11, 25-11 win.
Tatum Gill had six kills and three aces, and Lauren Fogliani added 19 digs and four aces for Archbishop Murphy (1-1, 1-0 Wesco 3A/2A).
Anna Dantas had 10 digs, Maya Velazquez had three blocks, Molly Nybold added two kills, and Claryce Dantas chipped in seven digs and two aces for Marysville Pilchuck (0-1, 0-1).

KIRKLAND — Sofa Brockmeyer had 17 digs and Ja’elle Jenkins added six kills and three digs, but Meadowdale fell in its season opener by scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-21.
Violet Dubois had seven kills, Mia Johns added five kills and Laiken Thoesen chipped in 14 assists for Meadowdale.

SNOHOMISH — Ava Nowak shined with 18 kills and seven digs, and Claire Sedenquist added 11 kills for Glacier Peak in a 25-10, 20-25, 30-28, 25-20 non-league win.
Chloe Wiersma had 20 assists and six kills, and Julia Martin added 19 assists and three blocks for Glacier Peak (2-0).
Jackson 3, Mount Vernon 1
MOUNT VERNON — Addison Eastwood was everywhere on the court with eight kills, 10 digs, five aces and 14 assists, and Ravenna Coleman added 13 kills and 12 digs for Jackson in a 19-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-16 non-league win.
Carla Selim had 11 digs, and Riley Sevilla chipped in 10 assists and six digs for Jackson (2-0).
Kamiak 3, Bothell 0
BOTHELL — Ella Kunz had eight kills, and Delaney Cooper added eight digs and five aces as Kamiak capped a busy opening week with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-20 non-league sweep.
Skyla Major chipped in 14 assists for Kamiak (2-1).

REDMOND — Maya Faulkner, Shady Mayer and Sarah Simula had four kills each as Mountlake Terrace opened its season with a 25-10, 25-16, 25-19 non-league loss.
Mayer added 15 digs and five aces, Lia Brown had seven digs, 13 assists and three aces, and Hailey Kahklen chipped in 12 digs for Mountlake Terrace (0-1).

EVERETT — Abby Peterson and Reilly Schindler each netted a brace as Edmonds-Woodway opened league play with a shutout win.
Jane Hanson and Kate Baldock also scored for Edmonds-Woodway (1-1-0, 1-0-0 Wesco 3A/2A).
Cascade fell to 1-1-0 overall and 0-1-0 in league.
Shorecrest 3, Meadowdale 2
SHORELINE — Olivia Sasnett and Emma Orthell each had a goal and an assist and Shorecrest staved off a late charge from Meadowdale to open league play with a win.
Bailey Matthew added a goal on an assist from Ezzie Fogg for Shorecrest (2-0-0, 1-0-0 Wesco 3A/2A).
Aubri Sadler scored in the 68th minute and Izzy Fallarme added a goal in the 79th minute as Meadowdale (0-2-0, 0-1-0) mounted a late rally that fell just short.
Snohomish 2, Mountlake Terrace 2
MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Chloe Parker scored a late game-tying goal for Mountlake Terrace in a back-and-forth league-opener with Snohomish that ended in a draw.
Clare August scored on an assist from Natalie Cardin for Mountlake Terrace (0-0-1, 0-0-1 Wesco 3A/2A), which was also playing its first match of the season.
Snohomish moved to 1-0-1 overall and 0-0-1 in league.
Shorewood 2, Arlington 1
ARLINGTON — Diana Tuilevuka and Abbey Lee scored as Shorewood earned a competitive win over Arlington in the league-opener for both teams.
Amelia Severn assisted Lee’s goal for Shorewood (1-1-0, 1-0-0 Wesco 3A/2A).
Brooklyn Hart scored an unassisted goal for Arlington (1-1-0, 0-0-1).
Monroe 3, Everett 2
EVERETT — Sydney Garner scored twice as Monroe opened Wesco 3A/2A play with a close win over Everett.
Siena Garner scored on an assist from Addison Williams for Monroe.
The match was also the first of the season for the Bearcats, who next host Arlington in a league game on Saturday.
Everett fell to 0-2 on the season and will travel to face Shorewood on Saturday to close the first week of play.
