EVERETT — Loretta Forrest had 11 kills and 12 digs to lead Everett (1-1 league, 4-1 overall) to a 20-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-12 Wesco 3A victory. Also for Everett, Tenika Wentworth had 16 assists, Sydney O’Neil had six kills, Debbie Peterson had five blocks and Jody Barhanovich had four service aces and 28 digs. For Marysville Getchell (0-2, 0-4), Rian Meader had 26 assists, Amber Umayam had had 17 digs, Katherine La Rosa had 13 kills and 16 digs, Kali Burnside had three aces and Meka Echevarra had six kills and five blocks.
