No Lauren Jackson, no problem.
The Storm defeat the Lynx 65-55.
The legs that appeared to be missing in the third quarter more than showed up in the fourth and KeyArena fans were fired up to see the Storm send the Lynx packing after what they did to Seattle two weeks ago.
Camille Little scored 16 points to lead the Storm.
Best moments of the fourth quarter were when rookie Maya Moore fouled out with 2:13 to play in the third quarter and Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You” played as Moore walked to the bench.
When Minnesota head coach Cheryl Reeve decided to call it with just over a minute remaining putting in all her reserves, the Storm announcer said to extreme laughter from the fired up KeyArena crowd, “checking in for Minnesota…everybody.”
The Storm looked like the defending champions tonight.
