Tacoma News Tribune Week 6 football rankings

Wow, we’re already in the sixth week of football season. Things are definitely starting to take shape, in terms of which teams are the real deal.
Following another one-sided victory, the Jackson Timberwolves (5-0) are still No. 4 in the Tacoma News Tribune’s Class 4A rankings. Despite its 5-0 record and a 190-73 season scoring margin, Marysville-Pilchuck isn’t in the top 10 yet.
Meadowdale (5-0) remains No. 6 in 3A after its thrilling overtime victory over unranked Glacier Peak (3-2).
In 2A, Archbishop Murphy (4-1) kept the No. 2 ranking. Murphy blasted Coupeville (3-2) 56-0. Murphy, which scored 36 points in the second quarter and led 50-0 by halftime, has outscored foes 180-69 this season.
