In this week’s Tacoma News Tribune high school football rankings, two local teams maintained their same top-10 rankings, while one tumbled five spots.
Unbeaten Archbishop Murphy (8-0) stayed at No. 1 in Class 2A after thumping King 49-0. The loss dropped previously undefeated King’s (7-1) five positions to 1A No. 8. In 3A, Glacier Peak (7-1) drilled Shorewood 48-14 and remained at 3A No. 9.
