Back in early May we reported that John Froland, a senior-to-be lineman who plays football for Glacier Peak High School, received a football scholarship offer from Northwestern University.

Now Froland, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman, has another offer.

Late last month Colorado State University also made an offer to the 2008 Associated Press Class 3A all-state honorable mention, according to Glacier Peak head football coach Rory Rosenbach.

Froland has also received significant interest from several Pac-10 programs but no offers yet, Rosenbach said. A few weeks ago, Froland visited Northwestern’s campus in Evanston, Ill., and talked to Wildcats coaches. “He obviously likes the school. It has as great academic reputation,” said Rosenbach. Froland has also visited the University of Oregon, Oregon State University and Stanford University, Rosenbach said.
