Dyer, a freshman, shot a 38 to tie for medalist honors in a Wesco 4A tournament on April 22 at Mill Creek Country Club. Dyer won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week voting for April 22-28 by claiming 463 (25.4%) of the 1,823 votes.

Will Alseth | Edmonds-Woodway | Baseball
Alseth, a sophomore, batted 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI and two stolen bases in the Warriors’ 8-0 victory over Oak Harbor that advanced the Warriors to the Class 3A District 1 semifinals.
Bailey Board | Jackson | Girls Track and Field
Board, a senior, won both the javelin (123 feet, 0 inches) and discus (122-3) at the Everett City Championships on May 3. Her mark in the javelin ranked sixth in the state among Class 4A athletes.
Conrad Chisman | Stanwood | Boys Golf
Chisman, a senior, carded a 66 to earn medalist honors at a Wesco 3A North tournament on April 30 at Snohomish Golf Course. He won the tournament by three strokes.
Abby Edwards | Snohomish | Softball
Edwards, a sophomore, broke the school record for strikeouts in a game when she fanned 23 batters in the Panthers’ nine-inning 2-1 victory over Cedarcrest on April 29. She also struck out 13 in another nine-inning victory, 6-5 over Everett on May 2 that clinched the Wesco 3A/2A regular season title.
Nicholas Miller | Glacier Peak | Boys Soccer
Miller, a senior, scored both goals as the Grizzlies clinched the Wesco 4A title with a 2-1 victory over Lake Stevens on April 30.
Bhu Sansuddi/Ru Sansuddi | Lake Stevens | Girls Tennis
The twin sisters, who are seniors, won three matches at No. 1 doubles, topping Cascade on Monday, Mariner on Tuesday and Arlington on Wednesday to lead the Vikings to a 3-0 record.
T’Andre Waverly | Kamiak | Boys Track and Field
Waverly, a junior, ran a time of 10.73 seconds in winning the 100 meters in a meet against Mariner, Shorewood and Shorecrest on May 2. His time ranked in the top 10 in the state among all classifications. He also anchored the victorious 400 relay (43.48).
