This week’s nominees

Glacier Peak vs. Kamiak at Goddard Stadium, Friday, 7 p.m.

The Grizzlies meet with the Class 4A No. 9 Knights in a key Wesco 4A clash. Glacier Peak (4-1, 1-0 league) averages 29.4 points per game and has scored 49 or more points three times. Kamiak (5-0, 1-0) holds a county-best nine-game winning streak and has scored 40 or more points in each of its five games this season.

Mountlake Terrace at Snohomish, Friday, 7 p.m.

The Hawks visit the Panthers for a Wesco 3A South matchup. Mountlake Terrace (1-3, 1-1 league) picked up its first win of the season last Friday, beating Meadowdale 34-3. Two-time defending league champion Snohomish (2-2, 2-0) looks to remain unbeaten in league play.

Shorecrest at Edmonds-Woodway, Friday, 8 p.m.

The Scots (1-4, 1-3 Wesco 3A South) look to rebound from last Friday’s loss to Lynnwood when they visit the Warriors. Edmonds-Woodway (2-3, 2-1) is coming off a key 33-28 league win over Monroe.
