Providence Everett Medical Center needs volunteers for Camp Prov, a day camp for children with physical and developmental special needs.
Volunteers are needed to work one-on-one with children and assist with camp activities, including crafts, swimming and cooking.
The five-week camp, located at Forest Park in Everett, will have two sessions, 8:45 a.m. to noon and 12:45 p.m. to 4 p.m., starting July 9 and ending Aug. 10.
Volunteers must be older than 14 and commit to one week of volunteering.

Red Cross sets elections meeting
The annual meeting of the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross is set for 5:45 p.m. June 27 at the chapter house, 2530 Lombard Ave., Everett.
The chapter will elect its officers and board of directors.
Art sale donations sought for festival
Donations are being accepted now for the annual Previously Loved Art Sale at ArtWorks in Edmonds.
The sale of paintings, prints, posters, frames, pottery and other items is scheduled for Sept. 15 and 16 at ArtWorks at 201 Second Ave. S. in downtown Edmonds.
Proceeds from the art sale benefit the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation’s education programs.
Any art-related items can be dropped off at ArtWorks from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.

‘Lost’ class seeks members in county
What would have been the Shoreline High School class of 1987 plans a reunion at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 in the former high school cafeteria, now the Shoreline Room at Shoreline Center, 18560 First Ave. NE, Shoreline.
In June 1986, Shoreline High School closed its doors. Shoreline juniors were split among the district’s two remaining high schools for their senior year.
Information about reunion events is available by e-mailing shoreline87@ comcast.net. Admission to the reunion is $75 or $65 if purchased by Friday.
Many of the class members now live in Snohomish County, a reunion organizer said.
Meeting for hospice volunteers planned
Volunteers are needed for Providence Hospice &Home Care of Snohomish County. An information meeting is set for 12:30 to 3 p.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 1200 E. Fifth St., Arlington.
Opportunities to help include patient and bereavement care, office and development work, Lifeline installers, knitting prayer shawls or afghans, notary work and errands
Classes for those who want to perform patient care and bereavement follow-up will be in the same location in July and August.

Volunteers needed to assist tourists
The Everett City Concierge Visitor Information Center is looking for enthusiastic hosts to help visitors learn more about Snohomish County.
Volunteers are needed for weekly shifts of three to four hours at the downtown visitor information center, located at the Everett Events Center.
Daytime, weekend and evening shifts are available. A knowledge of Everett and the surrounding area is helpful, but not required. For more information, call 425-322-2658.
