Movie-goers braved weather, distance

On behalf of the cast and crew of “Harry Monument,” I’d like to thank The Herald for listing our film premiere at Whidby Island Center for the Arts. Your help in bringing this event to the attention of the film-going public generated considerable off-island interest in WICA, where we successfully premiered our film on their big screen one recent Saturday. More than 350 people attended the two screenings, some from as far away as Arlington and Seattle, all of them braving a typically wet and windy November evening to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of Langley’s excellent performing arts center.
