Bad News from UW

Tyrone Willingham just said on the Pac-10 Coaches teleconference that tight ends Michael Gottlieb (hand) and Robert Lewis (foot) would be out Saturday against Oklahoma and that their absence could be lengthy.

That leaves a once-deep position very thin, with only Johnie Kirton healthy among the top three players. Kirton will start against the Sooners. With Gottlieb and Lewis out, redshirt freshman Tim Williams and walk-on junior Tim Harris will back up Kirton.
