Secondary Run Ragged

Washington’s secondary is getting run all over the field, as Patrick Turner already has a career-high in catches and yards. John David Booty is 11-for-17 for 101 yards. Not surprising, but certainly not encouraging.

And there’s also the question of why the touchdown on the fake field goal counted. When the holder received the snap, his knee was down, which would make the play dead. I don’t know the answer to why, but I’m sure Tyrone Willingham will have plenty to say about it after the game.

Washington needs a touchdown here to keep pace or this one could get really ugly
