Political FYI: Sheriff candidate to talk about crime and safety

Snohomish County sheriff’s bureau chief Tom Greene plans to meet people to talk about safety and crime in the county at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Senior Grandview Village, 5800 64th St. NE, Marysville.

Greene is one of three candidates running for county sheriff. Term limits prevent Sheriff Rick Bart from running again.

The primary is Aug. 21. The two top vote-getters will move on to the general election Nov. 6.
