Up-tempo Timberwolves roll over Edmonds-Woodway

EDMONDS — The Timberwolves’ fast tempo proved too much for the Warriors as Jackson took a 63-44 Wesco South victory over Edmonds-Woodway Tuesday.

“They’re quick and they score as soon as they get the ball,” Edmonds-Woodway coach Wayne Edwards said.

The Timberwolves forced 27 turnovers, which led to many transition baskets and flustered the Warriors throughout the first half. The Timberwolves were 28-for-59 from the floor while the Warriors were 14-for-38.

The Warriors took better care of the ball and stayed competitive with Jackson in the second half, but the 18-point Jackson lead at the half was too much to overcome.
