Everett meet outcome awaits scoring review

EVERETT — Boys track and field teams from Everett, Lake Stevens and Snohomish weren’t sure who came out on top at the end of their meet Thursday, but that didn’t keep several individuals from turning in impressive performances.
Everett’s J Hopkins and Rendel Jones each won two events, while Isaac Molstre from Lake Stevens and Marlyn Anderson from Snohomish did the same. Team scores were not finalized, however, due to errors in the recording of individual placements.
“It was a close one between Everett and Lake Stevens, we just don’t know the official scores yet,” Everett head coach Doug Hall said. “Not everybody loaded up, because we’re going to invites on Saturday. But it was still a great meet and there were some top performances.”
Hopkins won the 110-meter hurdles and the 200 dash, while teammate Jones took both the long jump and the triple jumps. Anderson won the shot put and the discus for Snohomish and Molstre took the 400.
