Man found floating in water off Edmonds ID’d

EDMONDS — Edmonds police have determined the identity of a man found Thursday night floating face down in the water near downtown Edmonds.
The man, whose name was not released, is 61 and from Everett, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
There were no immediate signs of trauma. The U.S. Coast Guard in Seattle searched the area and found no indication of an overturned boat in the water or nearby beaches.
As of this morning, the man remained in an intensive care unit at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds.
