Everett Community College runs well in Sundodger cross country Invitational

SEATTLE — The Everett Community College men’s cross country team placed sixth out of 20 teams at the Sundodger Invitational Saturday. The men’s team finished higher than Saint Martin’s the ninth-ranked team in the country in NCAA Division II, according to Everett CC coach Matt Koenigs. They also finished higher than several other four year colleges, including Lewis and Clark, Seattle Pacific University, the University of Puget Sound, Central Washington University, Whittier, Pacific Lutheran University and Northwest University.
The women’s team was seventh out of 18 teams, finishing higher than four-year schools Lewis and Clark, St. Martin’s, PLU, Northwest University and CWU.
