LYNNWOOD — Lynnwood knocked off the Wesco 3A’s top ranked Everett in straight sets 25-16, 25-19, 26-24, and are one game behind Glacier Peak for the last team into the 3A District 1 playoffs. Lynnwood’s Arianna Garcia provided 16 kills, Megan Herzog added 17 assists, Kayla Dumo had 14 digs, and Apple Filmeyer contributed 10 kills and three blocks in the win for the Royals (3-6 league, 7-6 overall). Everett had Emily Liger with 15 kills and five digs, Mackenzie Banta with 25 assists and seven digs, and Jody Barhanovich had 19 digs. Everett fell to 5-4, 8-5.
