Prep boys soccer: Archbishop Murphy 2, Coupeville 0

COUPEVILLE — In the Cascade Conference opener for both teams, Murphy (1-0 league, 2-0 overall) broke open the game midway through the second half. The Wildcats collected their first goal in the 57th minute when Steven Breide netted an assist from Josh Bartley. Three minutes later Riley Raynor assisted Sean Ryan, who slipped a shot by Coupeville (0-1, 0-1-1) keeper Isaac Wacker. Goalie Jordan Trinka recorded the clean sheet for Murphy.
