Prep girls track: Lake Washington Invite

KIRKLAND — Notable local performers from the meet included Shorewood’s Miram Mboya, who finished third in the 100 with a time of 12.37 seconds and Snohomish’s Leiran Cornish, who took third in the 400 (58.82). Marisa Gonzalez, from Kamiak, placed fourth in the shot put (37 feet, 81/2 inches) and Melinda Tinney of Snohomish finished fourth in the pole vault (9-6). The Edmonds-Woodway relay team placed third in the 800 relay with a time of 1:46.65, just .29 seconds behind the winning Wenatchee team.
