Prep volleyball: Archbishop Murphy 3, Coupeville 0

EVERETT — With Hannah Linsenmayer leading the way with 11 kills, 14 digs and four aces the Archbishop Murphy volleyball squad opened up its 2011 season with a Cascade Conference win by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-18. Amanda Marvin contributed nine kills and two blocks while teammate Tori Popp provided 21 assists for the Wildcats (1-0 league, 1-0 overall). Bessie Walstad had six kills for Coupeville (0-1, 0-1).
