SHORELINE — Meadowdale’s bats came alive in the top of the second inning Friday as the Mavericks posted seven runs in its victory over winless Shorecrest in a shortened five-inning Wesco 3A South game Friday. Colton Witsman (1-2, 2B, 2 RBI), Parker Coffey (1-1, 2B, RBI) and Malik Braxton (2-4, RBI) led the Mavericks offensively.
