Monday’s prep basketball stars

Here are some of the outstanding performers from Monday night’s high school basketball action:

BOYS

— Dyllan Harris, Oak Harbor. The 6-foot-2 senior guard scored 40 points in a 79-57 loss to Skyline.

— Josh Bevan, Marysville Pilchuck. The 5-foot-10 senior guard scored 20 points as the Tomahawks beat Ferndale 62-61 for their first win of the season.

— Sam Saufferer, Jackson. The senior guard scored 30 points in a 70-65 win over Newport.

— Tobyn Lawson, Shorecrest. The senior scored 22 points in a 72-60 victory over Sammamish.

— Robert Miles, Tulalip Heritage. The senior scored 23 points to lead the Hawks to a 51-43 win over Lummi.

GIRLS

— Mikayla Pivec, Lynnwood. The 5-foot-10 guard scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Lynnwood to a 75-46 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral at West Coast Jamboree in Livermore, California.

— Adiya Jones, Tulalip Heritage, Jones scored 24 points to lead the Hawks to a 65-11 win over Lummi Nation.

— Marissa Blair, Lakewood. The 5-foot-10 senior guard scored 19 points to lead the Cougars to a 63-49 win over Squalicum.
