Skykomish River drowning victim identified

GOLD BAR — A man who drowned on the Skykomish River last month has been identified as Nicolas G. Dalessio, 33, of Seattle.

His Nov. 19 death was ruled an accident, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Tuesday.

Dalessio was fishing on a boat that capsized near Gold Bar. He was taken to EvergreenHealth Monroe, where he died of his injuries.

A service was planned in Seattle this past weekend.
