Carson Tuttle, Kamiak

Tuttle poured in a school record 52 points in the Knights’ 85-76 loss to Capistrano Valley (Calif.) in the championship game of the Gatorade Division at the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invite in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

“He was in a zone,” Kamiak head coach Cory West said. “I’ve never seen anything like that before.”

Tuttle, a Texas A&M-Commerce commit, set another school record with 13 3-pointers made. He finished 13 of 21 from beyond the arc.

Tuttle was named the tournament’s co-MVP.

Ashley Alter, Stanwood

Alter, a senior, scored 29 points, helping the Spartans to a 65-45 win over Mead in a Cam Jam Clash for Cancer tournament contest in Spokane.
