Silvertips trade goaltender to Regina for draft choice

The Silvertips traded 2001-born goaltender Danton Belluk on Monday to Regina in exchange for a eighth-round draft pick in 2021. The conditions on the pick turns it into a seventh-rounder if Belluk reaches a certain games played threshold, according to Silvertips general manager Garry Davidson.

Belluk played in two games for the Silvertips over two seasons. He remained on Everett’s protected list but did not report to Silvertips training camp in August.
