SNOHOMISH — An anonymous email threatening that explosives would be set off at Glacier Peak High School led to the release of all students Tuesday morning.

The Washington State Patrol Intra-Agency Bomb Squad and multiple K9 teams were sent to the campus, but found no bombs.

“Deputies have not yet identified a suspect, but will work with detectives to investigate the source of the threat,” the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Students were sent home at 9 a.m. The district said no other schools or buildings were affected.

“The safety of our students and staff is our top priority,” the district said in a statement.
