INDIANAPOLIS — Washington State offensive lineman Abraham Lucas, an Archbishop Murphy alum, posted a 4.92 40-yard dash time, tied for fifth-fastest among all offensive linemen on Friday at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.

Lucas also turned in a time of 7.25 seconds in the three-cone drill — designed to measure an athletes ability to change direction — second best among all O-linemen.

Fellow Archbishop Murphy graduate Kyler Gordon, a defensive back from Washington, is scheduled to work out on Sunday.

The combine is an annual event featuring the top prospects for April’s NFL draft working out in various drill in front of NFL coaches and personnel staffs.
