Murphy alum Gordon does work at NFL combine

INDIANAPOLIS — Washington defensive back Kyler Gordon, an Archbishop Murphy alum, clocked a 4.52 40-yard dash on Saturday as the defensive backs got their chance to work out in front of NFL coaches and scouting staffs in Indianapolis.

Gordon, who checked in at 5 feet, 11.5 inches and 194 pounds with a wingspan of 74.75 inches, participated in the 40 and drills but no other combine events.

The combine is an annual event featuring the top prospects for April’s NFL draft working out in various drill in front of NFL coaches and personnel staffs.
