EVERETT — People curious about what’s happening around Everett Station can pop by Wednesday to hear from dozens of businesses and organizations that call the area home.

The Everett Station District Alliance is hosting a town-hall event from 2 to 6 p.m. in conjunction with the Wednesday Everett Farmers Market. The market is on 32nd Street between Paine and Smith avenues, and the town hall is set for the northern portion of the parking lot just south of 32nd Street.

Organizations that operate in the Everett Station area can talk about what they’re working on and planning. Some of the groups include Bezos Academy, Compass Health, Everett AquaSox, Everett’s planning, public works and transit departments, the incoming Everett Railroad Heritage Museum and Sound Transit.

Live music is planned, and the street will be covered with a synthetic grass turf, picnic tables and yard games. A food truck is scheduled to be there, too.
