MARYSVILLE — A man walked into a Marysville bank Wednesday afternoon and robbed cash from the drawers, according to the Marysville Police Department.
Around 4:15 p.m., a man who appeared to be in his 50s or 60s walked into the Washington Federal Bank in the 3000 block of 88th Street NE, according to police.
The man demanded cash from a teller. He jumped on the counter and pulled out cash from the drawers, police wrote.
It was unknown if he was armed during the robbery, Marysville police spokesperson Jeff Franzen said.
There was a disabled vehicle blocking 88th Street NE around the same time of the robbery, but it appeared to be unrelated, Franzen said.
Witnesses reported the man was roughly 5-foot-7 and bald. He was wearing two pairs of sunglasses and a green-and-white baseball cap.
